Synthematika Two Other Various Artists If 'Synthematika Two' where to enter a prick waving contest, this Various Artist album would smack down all its opponents with its huge digital wee wee. Usually when it comes to compilations, there's a 50-50 mix of yay's and nay's. But here, Synthematik somehow managed to make a 31 track compilation where almost all the tracks that range from awesome to great. The first half is more about the futurepop'ier part, where the second part is handling the more hard stuff. It really shows there's so much talent in the east (yeah, I know it's artists from everything from Sweden to USA as well, but over 50% of the tracks are from Russia and their neighbors) and just like South America have become a huge player the last couple of years, I'm very sure that the next couple of years, the eastern countries (well, at least if you are Swedish) will cover a great amount of ground. High points of the album, to mention a few, is "Alpha Point - Emptiness Witin", "Etage Neun - Tonight", "Mental Discipline - Battlefield of Love", "Vaylon - The End of the Day".. I can go on forever. But my two absolute favorites are Russian BeRain with their track "Devil" and Swedish Vanguard with their track "Trigger". Amazing stuff. Oh, I almost forgot, you can download this for free in our download section. What are you waiting for? 550
