Out For Blood Electro, Industrial Unit 187 Unit 187 is an American industrial metal band that has been around for a long time now, and they are now out with a new album out called 'Out For Blood'. This is a band that I would like to call an English version of Rammstein, but there are of course major differences, mainly the vocals and the overall quality of this band. The music is not bad, but the vocals are pretty terrible. The voice doesn't work for me at all and it is very hard to explain why I don't like it. What this band lacks are really good synthesizer melodies to support the heavily distorted guitars and the blasting drumbeats. The album itself consists of 10 tracks which don't really make you raise an eyebrow and it took a long time for me to actually get through the album since I found it very bland and boring. Don't get me wrong, I really dig industrial metal, but then again it has to add something extra for it to be fun or at least be a bit more melodic. There are a ton of great bands in the same genre as this one, but so much better. Therefore there is really no use in wasting energy on Unit 187. If you really need some music to listen to and your a fan of industrial metal, then go ahead and eat your heart out, otherwise stay away. 250
