In The City of Nodes Dark Electro, Industrial Psykkle This maxi single from Psykkle in support of the album 'Mother Monoxide', is nothing less than perfect. With the original "In The City of Nodes" track as well as eight killer remixes including a remix by Blast Radius and, one by Radutron. Psykkle who currently resides on CRL Studios is a tough act to follow, I was literally in trance on "Dreamscapes from the Hive Mind" that feat/ Lucidstatic. It becomes more and, more clear with each new CRL artist I hear that there is a certain level of Break and, Glitch, which adds something to the music that most industrial lacks in this era of Aggrotech/Terror EBM that seems so predominant anymore. Don't get me wrong, I am a big proponent to angry floor stomping music but, it doesn't have to lack melody and creativity. If you want that Stomping/punching aggressiveness, look no further than the Uprising mix of "In The City of Nodes" with driving guitar and mixed to perfection. All in all I have to say that this Maxi Single release is just SICK, you almost don't realize that this is a remix album unless you are checking the track listing. At only $6 this is a great buy, especially for anyone wanting different GREAT mixes. You can purchase the album digitally directly from the CRL Studios Bandcamp page (http://crlstudios.bandcamp.com). Good job Psykkle keep it going, can't wait to hear the full length. 550
