Another Sleepless Night Rhythmic Noise, Techno Embrionyc Imagine an oiltanker, about half a mile long, all rusty, enourmously big with monstrous engines roaring. Imagine shit fake industrial acts like X-Rx, Mordacious, Valium Era and such thrown under it and mauled to a bloody pulp. That insane juggernaut of industrial destruction is Germany's Embrionyc's first album and its fucking massive! The frightening intro "Retaliation" sets the pace for the onslaught which follows. First track "Beyond Your Dream" is a massive piece of doomcore with a beat so hard it will make cybers shit their pants. And if you think you have had it with that one, "The Grave" follows and is even more massive and frightening dark. Over the entire album Embrionyc managed to set higher and higher standards in doom core and rhythmic noise. "The Ripper" is another track which will infuriate the dancefloors where they like it hard and dark. The harsh teknoid industrial mayhem is broken up with beautiful piano pieces like "Dance little bird" and "Neurastenic" after which Embrionyc graps you again by the throat and rips you head off. Sows it back on, and rips it off again! Also very interesting is that Embrionyc uses beautiful ambient pads over the music, while the beat and rhythmns under it are extremely heavy and hard. The contrast is fascinating and makes the album very special and original. At the end of the album Embriony teams up with Moleculez, Cubic Nomad and Warchetype. Especially the song "Unauthorized" made with Warchetype is so insane the only thing you can do is scream while you get crushed under this massive beast of a track. Awesome! Easily in my top 10 for 2012 this debut from Embrionyc, which hails from the same city as Winterkälte. They probably put something nasty in the water supply system there. Album will be out on the 1st of august on Dark.Descent. For i have seen the future of industrial and his name is Embrionyc. "Ceterum autem censeo Cyber delendam esse". 550
