Div|der - Minimal Distraction
Div|Der is Bryon Wilson who's back with the newest single 'Minimal Distraction'. Picked up by Basic Unit Productions for this release, proves that the material has to be good. We're getting a six song release with four remixes of the title song, plus two remixes of "Relentless at the heart".
Just as presumed, the release is very solid. There's an Old-School EBM feel to it yet with modern sound design and quality. What comes in mind while listening to this release is the 90's X Marks The Pedwalk. Very dynamic, club friendly tune but not made with today's approach of 4x4 bass drum being on top of the mix.
My favorite remix of the title song is the Cute Heels one. Sounds very analogue, with blips and lot's of noise sounds. But the best song on this release is the Aesthetische remix of "Relentless at the heart". Pure dynamic clubgasm. I hear this one being played on every EBM/Industrial party. Good job!
So, bored of Nitzer Ebb and Spetsnaz? This is the new stuff! Get it quick! Dec 15 2013
