ALL THE SONGS THAT WERE SUPPOSED TO BE ON AN ALBUM BUT NO LABEL WAS INTERESTED AND THEN I THOUGHT ABOUT RELEASING ONLY SINGLES BUT I GOT PISSED OFF AND DECIDED TO RELEASE IT LIKE THIS. ENJOY. Electro Clicks Once you stop laughing at the insanely long Soulwax inspired song title (which isn't a drop compared to Chumbawamba's world record), there's a lot to be impressed about with Poland's new act, "Clicks". "Songs" is the natural follow up to the earlier released "This Is Jeopardy" single and contains a fusion of tantalizing and aggressive electro. "This Is Jeopardy" returns to start the album, and is driven by a rocky Guitar riff that reminds me of classic hard rock acts from the 80s. It then goes into house mode with an excellent synth melody. I usually shy away from House, and with very few exceptions refuse to listen to it, but colour this reviewer enamoured. "A New Way" continues it, but uses the vocals a lot more - I can't really describe the vocals of Wojciech Krol, as i'm about as House-savvy as the average reader of this site, but this flows REALLY well. "You're Here to Stay" is EXCELLENT. It reminds me of the more mainstream stuff on Grendel's "Timewave : Zero" and is incredibly catchy. As the album weaves through track by track, I find myself falling more and more in love with it, and while "TV" was spinning, I checked the credits and saw that this has not been Mixed or Mastered by a professional. I nearly fell over. It sounds so whole! Check this release out. It's FREE. And it's one of the best free releases Bandcamp has ever hosted. All those labels that weren't interested? Oops. 550
