Basswood Dollies ElectroClash, Electropop Basswood Dollies Basswood Dollies are John Lindqwister and Joel Lindqvist which are two fractions from bands like Cat Rapes Dog and Hype. The band plays rock 'n' roll-electro with punk attitude where the lyrics mostly are about politics and ethics. The first time I heard the band I felt a little bit sceptic, but I have a good reason. I had hardly made it through the door when my girlfriend screams "You got to hear this" and continue to scream "Flesh is nice! Flesh is nice!" over and over again. Still I didn't have to listen to the album many times before I found myself hum, sing and scream "Flesh is nice!", "Whore, Hooker, Prostitute!" and a couple of "Yeah!" every now and then. The content of all this is that Basswood Dollies have managed to produce a great five track album. I'm totally convinced they will be signed to a label soon and that we will be able to see them play live nearby our homes.
