Though they have just started and their name has not been passed around a whole lot, it's still nice to give the little guys a mention every once in a while. For this time I'm mentioning a new industrial metal project titled Gottwut. They take their name from two German words which roughly translates into "God's Fury", but the name of the band has nothing to do with their ideals. Anyway, this five-piece band is working to bring back the sounds from the 90s era of industrial metal to the modern age. If you want to see for yourself how well they're doing it, you can stream their first single 'Oil' right below which just released on September 12th:

The single also comes with a B-side track titled 'Cycle' which might serve better for those who like a little more electronics with their metal.

For more information on Gottwut you can find them on Facebook

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
