The second annual Aftermath Festival is bound to please all sorts of fans within the industrial and dark electronic community. Heavy hitters Leaether Strip, Haujobb, Conjure One, and Velvet Acid Christ are all set to headline the festival, which will surely get some fans' panties wet just at the mention of their names. But, there will also be many, many other bands among the roster of artists set to appear. Such as:

The oh-so dashing, handsome, and charismatic William Control, who has not only been compared to the likes of Iggy Pop and David Bowie, but whose fusion of darkwave, goth, new wave, punk, and glam rock has been reminisces that of New Order, Gary Numan, and Depeche Mode.

Founded by three of Stabbing Westward's former members, The Dreaming's industrial rock anthems are sure to help them rise again to prominence within the scene. Their appearance at Aftermath will only help solidify that.

Also appearing at the festival will be industrial rock/metal band 3TEETH, whose 2014, self-titled release took the industrial scene by storm, beckoning back to olden days; the ever popular Kevorkian Death Cycle whose releases I have absolutely adored and personally loved; the always humorous, but also always musically savvy Ego Likeness; the very dancey, very club oriented sounding Go Fight; as well as Dead on TV

On the more electronic side of things, making an appearance will be Tactical Sekt, whose next album is currently in the works,; the ever-stompy, politically biting FGFC820; Ludovico Technique, who has arguably one of the best smiles in the scene; and the very, very bass infested and punchy Nitro/Noise

Among those also set to appear will be: the dreamy Mr.Kitty; Bruderschaft, making a rare live performance at this festival; Electrovot, whose debut album is currently free via their Bandcamp page; tribal electronica project by Steven Archer of the aforementioned Ego Likeness, Stoneburner; ambient and IDM artist MEND; and local Toronto artists Peter Turns Pirate, Glennlove, and Squid Lid

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
