Industrial Duo Hide Release New Single 'Wildfire', Announce Debut Full Length Album "Castration Anxiety"
Chicago-based industrial duo HIDE have released 'Wildfire' the first single off of their upcoming debut full length album Castration Anxiety due out on March 23rd via Dais Records. The first single off our debut album Castration Anxiety is 'Wildfire.' We made this video with a power trio of women photographers/film makers who we have worked with in the past and were eager to do something more involved with. 'Wildfire' is about the earth rejecting its inhabitants. The album overall is about autonomy, identity, and power dynamics. -Heather Gabel
Ever since their inauguration in 2014 HIDE has been hard at work releasing a steady stream of EPs and singles. Politically charged and well received, Castration Anxiety is a direct follow-up to 2017's Black Flame EP. HIDE has also played the stage with acts such as ADULT, Ceremony, Champagne Mirrors, and have even opened for Marilyn Manson on The Pale Emperor Tour.
