Director Jeff Frumess is proud to present his first trailer for his upcoming Gothic/Shakespearean Independent Horror Film Romeo's Distress. Before I get going, watch the trailer for yourself below:

Romeo's Distress is a no-budget, quirky film that follows a boy named James, his love for a girl named Jane, and her father's sadistic response to said relationship. For fans of Shakespeare, Edgar Allen Poe, and, well, apparently cheesecake according to the official press release.

Romeo's Distress was filmed and created by Nick Bohun and Jeff Frumess throughout a fifteen month period. It was partially filmed in Sleep Hollow Cemetery and almost entirely shot in Monochrome.

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
