Darkwave/ambient project Dissonance has released a brand new album titled Dissonance via record label Hakatak. The nine track album was made by founding member Cat Hall (lyrics/vocals) and co-written by Justin Burning of Fall of Empyrean and The Liquescent Horror. You can purchase the album HERE and can stream it directly below:

Paul Robb of Information Society was one of the first to catch onto Cat Hall's talent, going on to produce her first self-titled album for his record label Hakatak. They later worked together on a solo EP in 1998 titled Come to Mama. Hall went onto release a second album Reincarnate via Nilaihah in 2001. Dissonance then went on hiatus for a bit to explore and experiment with other side projects until 2016 when Cat Hall aligned herself with Justin Burning.

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
