Cryo Chamber to releases fifth Lovecraft collaboration "Shub-Niggurath"
Dark ambient/drone record label Cryo Chamber is set to release their fifth Lovecraftian-inspired collaboration titled "Shub-Niggurath". This compilation focuses on the titular deity from Lovecraft's mythos with the following explanation from Cryo Chamber's Bandcamp page:
Of all the mythos deities, Shub-Niggurath is probably the most extensively worshipped. Her worshippers include the Hyperboreans, the Muvians, T'yog of K'naa, and the people of Sarnath, as well as any number of druidic and barbaric cults. She is also worshipped by the non-human species of the mythos, such as the "Fungi from Yuggoth" (the Mi-Go) and the Nug-Soth of Yaddith. With the proper occult paraphernalia, Shub-Niggurath can be summoned to any woodlands at the time of the new moon.
"Shub-Niggurath" will be released in both digital and physical formats, with the physical edition coming with 2 CDs as well as a deluxe, 16-page hardcover digibook. You can pre-order your copy HERE.
