NewsDemo Section Closing down - moved to reviews
| 20 Feb 2012 by Nick Quarm We are moving our demo section and integrating it with the regular reviews. Demos will now be identifiable by the 'Demo' tag under the 'Label' section. Having 12 demos a year on average simply doesn't justify a stand-alone section. The existing space on the toolbar for 'Demos' may soon be used for something extra special instead ;) Cheers |

| 24 Jan 2012 by Seamus Bradd So, for anybody who's been living in solitary confinement for the past month or so, the issue of piracy seems to be higher on everyone's agenda of stuff to talk about than ever before, be it SOPA/PIPA, the ACTA treaty, or indeed the abrupt shutting down of MegaUpload, It's a topic that everyone has an opinion on, and nobody seems to be in the least bit ambivalent about. | 15 Jan 2012 by Seamus Bradd Nader Moummeh has got to be one of the most hard working and dedicated individuals in the business. Electro Aggression Records' first release, the Old School Electrology compilation, was a gargantuan and monolithic labour of love rarely seen in today's climate of disposable music, bringing together (and in many cases bringing out of retirement) some of the best loved names in classic in...... The Underworld: Awakening soundtrack is actually pretty awesome
| 14 Jan 2012 by Seamus Bradd Okay, so I have no love for the type of overly sincere Christian tween-rock with female vocals such as Evanescence and Flyleaf that seems to be grabbing the most attention here (Christian rock in a film where the lead protagonist is a vampire? Have I missed something here?), but dig a little deeper, and there's actually some really cool tracks on it. You've got artists like Aesthetic P...... Read more |

| 17 Sep 2011 by Patrik Lindstrom Swedish industrial EBM artist Cryo is back with a brand new MCD called 'Beyond' on the 26th of October. While his other releases have had a much more clean and dancefloor influenced approach on EBM, this new MCD is much more darker and slower.
