Well, Hello October, I've been waiting for you. It's Fall outside, I already carved my first pumpkin, and one could say I'm the happiest I've been in quite some time. I absolutely love and adore this season as many industrial folk do, but it's time to stop talking about my love affair with the darker season and get on to this week's articles:

WE'RE HOSTING A HALLOWEEN COMPETITION.

NINETEEN DAYS. All you industrial musicians and the like have about nineteen days to enter our Halloween contest with a song that is absolutely spooky and musically amazing. If you haven't heard about this yet you can check out all the details HERE

TWO REVIEWS AND ONE PIECE OF NEWS.

Slow week here at Brutal Resonance. I was working on another magazine that I'm part of and my time got seriously crammed. That, and a surprise visit from a family member caught me off guard. Anyway, Army of the Universe's 1999 & The Aftershow scored a pretty decent 7.5 out of 10 with their electrorock bringing out industrial beats and some good guitar. Ali Renault's Keeper Of The Seven Keys was another great piece of italo-disco brought out from the folks over at Giallo Disco Records and it subsequently scored a 7 out of 10. And, in our only bit of news this week, Ultra Arcanum has released The Silence Inside on Nadanna Records, so chek that out if you like stylish synth driven music from Greece.

That's all for now, folks. Stay tuned until next week!

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
