PREMIERE: Check out the dreamy ambiance within Synthpop project Torus Eyes' 'Mist of Serenity'

Gwendolyn and Rho met by fate almost as an accident as Gwendolyn was passing through Detroit on tour. Through a sustained interest in each others' craft as well as similar techniques in production and overall vision, the two sent tracks back and forth over the next couple of months spawning something entirely new. This gesture turned into a higher passion as Gwendolyn moved from Indianapolis to Detroit to start recording their debut EP "Pythia". Thus Torus Eyes was born. 

Labeled as a synthpop group, the dreamy ambiance found within much of their music lends a darker approach to their style; bouts of what I could consider darkwave influence their music. Echoing vocals adrift in space as well as hypnotic and almost minimalist beats finish off what makes Torus Eyes composure work so well.
