We got our first taste of Blood Blush back in June of 2018 when they released their single 'Demon Clout'. While the song and the band showed potential in their debut single it has not been until recently that the band has been firing off a wondrous symphony of post-punk glory. We have the privilege today of sharing with you Blood Blush's latest single and music video. Taken off of their upcoming EP "Doubts" which is due out on April 2nd, 2019, this hella-eighties inspired goth song will have you getting your best imitation Cure outfit ready. But, enough talk, stream the video directly below:

With blacks and reds adorning all over, 'Death Weights' is a heavy but inspirational song that everyone can relate to. As the band explains:

Death Weights can be summed up as an anthem for pushing through extreme turmoil. It started off being about bleak and dismal moments but over time, new meanings have taken shape. Now, in some strange way, it's about moments where you feel like preparing to end your life but jumping into a lake while holding an anvil but when you plunge into the water you actual traveled so far and so fast that you ended up on another side of the planet; unscathed and you are wiser and stronger. Kind of a "fuck you" to everyone who left you when you were down and really needed help. Petty? Sure. Highly relatable? Definitely.

"Doubts" is available for pre-order HERE. The band also has a few shows upcoming which can be viewed directly below.

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
