Empathy Test presents the latest remix to be released from their upcoming 'Throwing Stones Remixed' EP. The EP arrives August 18th via all major digital outlets and will feature ten re-workings of tracks from their second EP, December 2014's Throwing Stones EP. On remix duty are a host of talented new electronic acts from around the world.

The remix we here at Brutal Resonance to get a premiere comes care of another New York based artist. We Are Temporary is the weird and wonderful brainchild of Mark Roberts, founder of Stars & Letters, the record label which released the Empathy Test EP these remixes are based on.

"Here Is The Place was Mark's favourite track from the Throwing Stones EP and he has taken the original track and accentuated the qualities which first drew him to it. Whereas the original Empathy Test track is driven by thunderous drums, We Are Temporary's take strips the track back to its bare bones, choosing to focus almost entirely on the vocal -which has been keyed down - for the first half of the track. There's no drums until after the first chorus and the bass doesn't kick in for a full two minutes into the track, which has a calming effect on the track as a whole, making it more introspective and accentuating the funereal quality of the song, without losing any of its original grandeur."

Throwing Stones Remixed is now available to pre-order from Empathy Tests Bandcamp and will release in all major digital stores August 18th. Empathy Test is currently touring the UK and Europe and working on new tracks for their debut album, 'Demons'.
