Swedish industrial rock group Ember Twin are an interesting duo to say the very least. Their last EP "Nothing" released in December of 2018 had influences ranging from industrial, synthpunk, and even 50's love ballads. A strange mix of music indeed, but this has not stopped the project from moving forward and claiming a decently unique domain. Nonetheless, they did catch our ear when they released "Nothing", and it's with that that we are proud to premiere the band's music video for 'I Can't Turn You On'. You can stream the video directly below:

A simplistic color scheme backs a performance from Mikael Ember while William Ember portrays an emotionally schizzed-out character. From anxiety riddled and jolted movement to apathetic claps along to the beat, there is more than meets the eye going on throughout the song.

Ember Twin's "Nothing" can be purchased HERE.

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
