Belgian Psy’Aviah released their debut album ‘Entertainment Industries’ back in 2008 on Alfa-Matrix and part from making a good album, they also got highlighted a bit in the YouTube incident. Now they are back with their second album ‘Eclectric’ and if you thought their debut where good, you sure soon will noticed they have raised the bar for their second album, and not just one time, we are talking rapid bar movement here people.

Generally I tend to dislike artists that do bigger style changes throughout the album. Psy’Aviah changes style from electro to industrial tunes and all the way to pure industrial dance music. Still, they manage to keep it all together somehow with great result.

‘Eclectic’ is sexy, powerful and energetic. It got great electro tunes like “Keeping Hope Alive” and “Blackhole”. It got great feet moving tracks like “Paranoid” and “Anger Management” (that somehow reminds me of Prodigy), and not to forget the vocoder orgasm with “!AllAboutYou”.

Ayria have lent out her voice in the tune “Into The Game” and does a great job like always. Also, Jean-Luc De Meyer is doing some French singing in “Ophélie” and that sure is a voice you would recognize in a crowd of one million singing voices. Jean-Luc has never been a good singer in a classical manner, but somehow he makes it sound so great.

This is a must buy and defiantly one of the best albums of 2010 so far.
